Welcome to Dragon Roast Coffee – where fantasy meets the rich aroma of freshly roasted beans. Born from a love for coffee and a passion for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), we embarked on a quest to create a coffee brand that resonates with adventurers, gamers, and enthusiasts alike. Our story began around a gaming table, where the idea sparked: why not make coffee an inclusive experience for everyone? We noticed many of our fellow gamers were intrigued by coffee but felt overwhelmed by its complexities. That's where Dragon Roast Coffee comes in – a brand that simplifies the coffee experience without compromising on quality or fun.

from 293 reviewsSo, I like dark coffee, which is why I got this blend. Sometimes though, especially with cheap quality coffee, dark roasts can be very bitter. This was so far and away the opposite while still being chocolaty and dark. Whether it's the very faint compliment of dried fruit, or the roasted-to-order process, I'm not sure - but this is lowkey (or maybe high key) my new favorite coffee. One reason I like dark is because I use cream and sugar. This is still so smooth black - I have no qualms about drinking it that way. The fruit I mentioned also does not overpower anything. In fact, it's very subtle and just seems to sweeten the aftertaste with not much flavor itself - which I like. I was worried about it maybe being *too* fruity, but it's perfect
I also got it ground, and it was perfectly fresh and full. So, if you're worried about ground vs whole bean, don't be. You can't go wrong either way
Look to the stars and dream of dragons!

Great quality and detail on this tumbler. Highly recommend!

Made Rogue Roast as a cold brew and highly recommend. Had no bitterness whatsoever and the hints of plum really came through. Awesome coffee

Love this coffee brand. The character art is so cute, and the flavors are Felicia. Great gift for any fantasy game loving coffee nerd in your life.

Wonderful light roast, perfect start of the day, or evening relaxing brew. Great balance of flavors.

Lucky happen chance I found you. Finally got around to grinding these and giving it a try. Truly enjoyed the coffee. Nice dark roast, wonderful flavor.

Love the Company themed packaging! very stylish! the coffee is wonderful as well, it is currently my daily driver!

As nice as it is to have a consistent, dialed-in roast, it's also fun to explore different roasters and see what they can do. And I'm glad I did with Dragon Roast!
While I typically veer towards medium/dark roasts, I figured I'd try their sampler (which I'm alwaysglad to see offered) and man am I impressed! The Druid roast is extremely sweet and fruity, which is a nice change of pace from the chocolaty or tea-like "medium" roasts that I've had from recent roasters.
No shade, all coffee (when roasted with care and attention) is delicious, but it's super refreshing to find a roaster that brings something new right off the bat. (The super cute art is the cherry on top!) I'll definitely be back for more.

Updating my review after talking to one of the owners and figuring out that my beans were actually roasted recently versus what the sticker said. I tried the beans and really fell in love with the blueberry forward flavor of Druid. Will be an ongoing customer and will share around locally with my fellow coffee enthusiasts.

I met the dragon roast peeps at a convention and they were soooo welcoming and helpful, especially considering i knew next to nothing about coffee. i finally got to the point where i can brew this and i feel im doing the coffee justice, and it’s just so good. i always liked the taste of coffee but i assumed that the bitterness and acidity and burnt flavors in cheap or poorly made coffee were just a part of the experience, but this rogue coffee showed me that you can have all the flavor without any of the annoying parts. i’m still very new to coffee but i feel like i have this exciting world to explore thanks to the dragon roast team. now i just need to try every kind they have…

The paladin roast is crisp in bright with a touch of Carmel. Brewed as espresso with a sugar cube in it tastes like coffee fruit. Lovely brew will be ordering more
Good shirt. Nice quality. Runs a bit small.

I like my coffee like myself, strong and valued in the workplace. A portion of the sale went to the Malala Fund so more women have access to an education. Oh yeah, and the coffee was amazing.
