Welcome to Dragon Roast Coffee – where fantasy meets the rich aroma of freshly roasted beans. Born from a love for coffee and a passion for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), we embarked on a quest to create a coffee brand that resonates with adventurers, gamers, and enthusiasts alike. Our story began around a gaming table, where the idea sparked: why not make coffee an inclusive experience for everyone? We noticed many of our fellow gamers were intrigued by coffee but felt overwhelmed by its complexities. That's where Dragon Roast Coffee comes in – a brand that simplifies the coffee experience without compromising on quality or fun.

Let customers speak for us
from 267 reviewsSo I was suggested this coffee from another customer, and they gave rave reviews. I decided to try this coffee out of the Adventurer's Party pack first. I ordered the Whole Bean pack as I like to grind my coffee fresh.
When I first opened the bag, the smell hit me pretty strong. Not a bad smell, but the freshly roasted beans were a very welcome aroma. The brew smelled amazing as it filled the whole house with freshly ground beans through a coffee pot you could probably get for $12 at a supermarket.
What I wasn't prepared for was the taste. I was expecting the standard black bitterness of a good coffee hitting my taste buds. What I got was a smooth experience unlike most beans I've ground before. It wasn't too bitter, but it wasn't too bold and heavy. Smooth flavors, and I could definitely taste the apple and hint of chocolate in it. Nothing was overpowering anything else, it was a healthy balance of beans and flavors. A good acidity for a balanced drink, though my wife thought it was on the strong side.
All in all, a rather surprisingly welcome addition to my coffee pot for those late sessions and early morning groups.
I can't wait to try the next pack in the Adventurer's Party.

I personally have found that I much prefer the necromancer. That being said the adventuring party was a great way to help sample the different roasts. And all 3 are very good!

We brought Barbarian with us to try while embarking on some camping adventures outside of the city. The consensus? A wonderful, bold dark roast to fuel us for all of the activities we had planned. The flavor notes of cocoa pairs well with a pancake breakfast or s’mores (if you’re up for an evening cup!)

The Paladin Roast is smooth with a low acidity that brings out the flavor notes in every sip. Simple, flavorful, and beyond satisfying without needing a ton of sugar or syrups. Will be ordering again!

Just love all of their blends so I keep mixing it up

Almost a year ago I ran into the people from Dragon Roast at GDEX. I was trying to drop energy drinks and get into coffee more for my caffeinated needs. The people at the booth were incredibly nice and well informed. They broke down what I was looking for, offered some great insight, and I left feeling excited for trying something new. They sold me on grinding my own beans so much that I went out and got my own grinder just for their coffee and I have to say it is life changing. I adore their coffee, especially the Rogue one. I’ve cut down on my sugar by so much and my house smells amazing every morning.

I've tried several blends from Dragonroast and while they are all delicious Rogue is by far my favorite.

This coffee was so good! The hints of flavor mixed with how smooth this coffee is! The way that I don’t get an acidic taste after drinking it is amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

I used to be a heavy cream and sugar guy. Not anymore. Good coffee that that tastes good without the sugars

Very nice coffee! The hot coffee smells so good!! The only thing bot perfect is the resealable ziplock was upside down in my bag. Just wanted to let you know for packaging sake. I did have a container to seal the coffee beans.
