May + June 26 Event Recap
I have become convinced that I am a time traveler. May and June might as well have happened at once because now it is nearly halfway through July as i sit down to recount what has happened. Let us begin!
May
Cheyenne Gaming Convention
Cheyenne, Wyoming

Hosted by our friends at Game Masters, Cheyenne Gaming Convention is a weekend full of gaming delights. We first met Game Masters at Genghis Con in 2025, and their convention is always a good time. We spent the weekend catching up with our fellow artisans, united in our passion for both tabletop and video games. Thanks for having us, we will surely be back again!
RPG Limit Break 26
Denver, Colorado

This years RPG Limit Break was an absolute treat. Not only did we bring back the excusive tumbler, but we also created an exclusive roast for the event: Mimi's Loot! This coffee was a blueberry + cocoa delight, pushing gamers to their personal best all week long. ALSO - we got to visit the studio and do an interview with Moonblaze! We talked our coffee origins and made a pour over of Mimi's Loot for the stream. Next year we look forward to doing even more with this talented crew - who managed to raise over $86,000 for NAMI!
Speed Stuff 4 Charity
Online Event

But wait there's more! We supported another GDQ team, Speed Stuff 4 Charity (SS4C). Like other GDQ events, SS4C specializes in speed running various video games for charities. SS4C also spotlights Asian and Latino talents. For their fundraiser event, we crafted Golden Split coffee roast and exclusive SS4C Frosted Can to help them reach new heights!
FanExpo Denver
Denver, Colorado

FanExpo Denver is Colorado's premier pop culture con that draws in more than 100,000 attendees every year. While we have had our coffees featured at this expo before, this was our first year we got to have a booth for Dragon Roast! Not only that, but one of our artists, RollArcana (my cousin!), was vending in Artist Alley this year. RollArcana is also responsible for all of the art in our Grand Brewl one shot. It was so cool being able to sing her praises and send visitors her way so that they could meet one of our artisans!
It felt amazing to be able to share our coffee with so many adventurers, new and old. For the first time, we were able to hand out free drink vouchers for our tavern too! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all of our local heroes that made it out to see us, and shared our coffee with the world!
P.S. We have already been invited to return next year. See you there next July! ^_^
June
Phoenix Fan Fusion
Phoenix, Arizona

Where it all began. Phoenix Fan Fusion was our first pop culture celebration we took our coffee to, and has become a staple for us every year. Words cannot express how much this show fills our cup - shout out to AJ Hernandez for being an incredible host.
This year was made especially delightful by all of our fans and patrons - you showed us SO MUCH love. Seeing you all so excited for us, our coffee, and advocating for others to give us a try was so touching. Our booth was shoulder to shoulder packed (we certainly need to bring more help next time haha), and you guys were answering questions and sharing our story for us. When there was a neighsayer in the crowd, you were quick to educate them on our way of the bean. Because of you, we had our most successful show to date!! <3
Thank you, truly.
Aurora Fest
Aurora, Colorado

As soon as we returned home to Colorado, it was time for Aurora Fest. This free to the public event was held at the same Aurora Municipal Center , spotlighting cultures from around the world. There were food trucks, vendors, and live music with amazing performances (shoutout to the talented Selena performer, you killed the astrodome set!)
The event started out on a low note for us - we were exhausted from months of shows, forgot some merch, and the early attendees were forcing us to pass several skill checks to keep our sanity. I also learned a new thing: apparently living in the same state isn't local anymore? Owning a business in the same county isn't either and 10min drive is too far. Who would have thought? 3 years of doing shows in Aurora doesn't count either I guess. (forgive me for being facetious, it struck a nerve for me).
Thankfully, our fans came to rescue and resuscitated us from the brink of oblivion. Some of our content creators visited us as well! The rest of the day was filled with exchanging tabletop gaming stories, taking selfies, and building connections. We appreciate you all more than you know.
Juneteenth Class of 2026
Online Event

Black in a Flash is a GDQ team that specializes in showcasing the talents of black video game speed runners. This Juneteenth, we helped them celebrate 5 years of black excellence on the Games Done Quick channel by bringing back our excusive Spiced Reset roast. This time, we donated proceeds directly to the team at Black in a Flash to help support their future endeavors! Shout out to PT and Ashley for yet another great event.
Other News
That covers our EVENTS for the month of May and June. Meanwhile, we also pushed the ball forward on shipping Kickstarter orders (see latest update here), and developing some exciting partnerships that we will detail in future posts.
Thank you everyone that has been patiently for orders to arrive. We do not like to keep people waiting, and the manufacturing delays really messed up our shipping timelines. We are now in the spot we were trying to avoid: juggling Kickstarter shipping with daily order volume and convention season. We also chose to eat the extra shipping costs of splitting fulfillment so that we can deliver the coffees as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for your kindness and patience. <3
