Meeple-a-thon is a 501(c)(3) charity gaming convention dedicated to supporting Kansas City’s at-risk and disenfranchised community members. Founded in 2016, Meeple-a-thon was born from a deeply personal mission. At a young age, our founder experienced houselessness firsthand and learned how poverty can become an unrelenting cycle—one that is incredibly difficult to break. After years of perseverance and eventually achieving financial stability, they made a promise: to build a community that lifts others the way they once needed to be lifted.
