The Skerton Pro is a favorite amongst coffee newcomers and professionals alike. Its compact size makes it perfect for travel or home use. This coffee grinder uses burrs made of ceramic - conical ceramic burrs transfer less heat and shave coffee beans versus cracking them like blade grinders.  This process also provides a more consistent grind that can easily be adjusted and set for repeat use.

Best grinder I have had.

I previously had an electric grinder which I think was removing a lot of the flavor from the beans. This coffee mill having burr parts I have read is what is best for grinding coffee as it specifically grinds rather than simply crushes coffee beans. I had to experiment to find a medium grind which the instruction manual says works best with paper filters, but once I found the right grind the coffee has never tasted or smelled better. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting freshly grinder coffee.
