How is it July already? I feel like I just wrote one of these a few days ago but I guess its been a whole month now haha. This has been a busy month and we have a lot of awesome stuff to talk about.

Soothing Lotus

We mentioned last month that we had an exciting brand collaboration with Soothing Lotus and I wanted to talk about that a bit more here. Soothing Lotus is an exciting new ritual lifestyle brand that has curated collections of teas, incense, room sprays, smudge sticks and honeys that are designed to all work together to create a calming sanctuary wherever you may be. We originally met them last year at PAX West and they approached us to develop a coffee roast for every one of their collections. This was a very in-depth process of sourcing, developing and roasting 6 entirely BRAND NEW coffees from the ground up. We are so proud of the end product we were able to create for this collaboration and you can find them at conventions all over the united states. If you go to a gaming convention, chances are you will see them. Check out their offerings and pick up a bag from them if you want to experience some new coffees from us!

Nan Desu Kan

Nan Desu Kan, or NDK, is the largest anime convention in the 13 surrounding states around Colorado, and this year they invited us to be exhibitors with them. This is a really big honor, as they are extremely selective on who their vendors are. We are so excited to be a part of a con that is so rich with history and is a staple in the Colorado convention scene. 

This is going to be such an awesome time and our first dedicated anime con. It feels so great having large events like this inviting us to be a part of them. We were originally worried that this would interfere with other convention obligations but after our other local con mysteriously decided to deny us (for no reason they would divulge), we were suddenly available to focus solely on NDK! That means we will be bringing the best we have to offer to this anime celebration!

We cannot wait to see you at Nan Desu Kan!!

Kickstarter Is Coming!

I know we have been teasing this for a while now but it has been a LOT of work and we have been trying to really nail down the scope of this project. We have made the decision to partner with a company that focuses on gaming / tabletop kickstarter projects to help us make this a reality. We have so many exciting things lined up for this such as 5, yes FIVE, new potential roasts, a full D&D adventure, new gaming accessories and even...plushies! We are working to have this campaign live and in a pre-launch state by the end of august so that you can follow along and be the first to try all of our NEW coffees coming!

New Convention Booth

We have been working really hard to redesign our convention booth to help make the con experience more enjoyable and more effective. We are always improving our booth layout and signage and we have a huge con booth overhaul coming for our events for this rest of the year. We are waiting for the new banners to get in so we can show you everything, we are planning on debuting the new booth layout first at NDK and then the larger version of it at Furry Migration. It has been nice having a small break from events to really nail down a new design and layout to make our events EVEN BETTER!

Onward To August

So that has been our July in a nutshell. We have an intense group of back to back events coming up starting the end of August and going through September that we are gearing up for as well as putting a lot of focus into this Kickstarter campaign.
