Cheyenne Gaming Convention 2025 Recap

April feels like it was a total blur but the Cheyenne Gaming Convention was definitely a highlight for us! We had such a great time at this event in Wyoming and met so many wonderful people. This event was also deceptively close to our home in Colorado which made it even better.
A Weekend of RPGS
Board games were definitely being played all over, especially with an extensive library of thousands of free games to check out and play, but this weekend we saw a lot of people enjoying some really awesome TTRPGS both new and old! A game we got to check out more in-depth was Coven and Crucible, from our friends at 13th Moon Games. This one has really been impressing us with its unique 2D12 system and really interesting game setting, definitely worth checking out. We were also super happy to see people playing multiple games of Kids on Bikes, which is another one of our favorites around here!
And The Coffee Did Flow
This was our first time out in Cheyenne, Wyoming and we found out quick that people there love their coffee! Thankfully we brought some extra stock with us since we had another event directly after this one because otherwise we would have sold out FAST! Rogue was the most popular roast of this convention being the first to sell out followed by Necromancer. It is always so fun and interesting to see what people at each event tend to gravitate towards. This was also an event with lots of late night gaming and it was cool to see how many people were enjoying their Dragon Roast Coffee, even later in the evening.
Other Vendors To Check Out
Like with any good convention, there are always so many amazing vendors to check out. I wanted to give a shout out to a few other exhibitors that really made the trip extra special.
Crystal Sully is an amazing artist who has done official art for so many of our favorite IPs including MTG, D&D, Starfinder and so much more. Her ability to create incredible monsters and dragons is so good and we were blown away with her artwork.
Coven and Crucible is a TTRPG that we have absolutely fallen in love with. It takes place in a really awesome setting in a world where magic, witches, supernatural creatures, magical animals and more exist. It also uses a unique 2D12 system that is super easy to learn and extremely expansive.
Debbie Ngo Art is another super talented artist and ceramic wizard who makes some of the most incredible mugs we have ever seen! If you are looking for a new handmade drinking vessel, give them a look.
Until Next Time Wyoming
We had an absolute blast over this event weekend and would definitely come back next year! Thank you so much to all the event organizers and staff that helped make the event run so smoothly and be such a success. Also we want to thank everyone that came by the booth and spent time with us, you are the reason we do this and we appreciate every single person who comes by!
