Salutations, adventurers! Wow, what another blink and you'll miss it month. While November did not feature any major events, we successfully launched our first Kickstarter! Additionally, we have had some more exciting developments that we cannot wait to share. Let's dive in.

Kickstarter: The Good, The Great, and The Awesome

Finally (after months of blood, sweat, and tears) we launched our Kickstarter on November 18th and managed to fund the campaign in just 34 minutes! Not only that, but every day during launch week saw the unlock of another stretch goal! Cleric, Plushies, Fighter, Oathbreaker, and new stickers have all been unlocked. At the time of this writing we are nearing $40,000 stretch goal, and are preparing to reveal some additional stretch goals once we do so! 

Thank you - seriously. We put a lot of effort into executing our first campaign and all of you really showed up to support us. It was a difficult challenge to make sure our Kickstarter was going to offer something worthwhile for returning patrons and appeal to new ones. We second guessed ourselves, and even redid the design for our whole campaign a week before launch after feedback and peer review. Learning how to manage ad spend, doing the math to pick the best goal, kickstarter staff going on strike (for over a month, mind you), and trying to run our normal business!

It was stressful, but all of you made it worth it. Now we are in the fortunate position of giving you all even more stretch goals to achieve in the final 2 weeks.

This year is going to be ending on a high note thanks to your support! Now, as our way of saying thanks...

Introducing: Hexblade

One More Thing...

In addition to launching a successful Kickstarter, developing Hexblade, and preparing for Dragonsteel Nexus... we have also been shopping for a new HQ!

Currently, we reside in back of Subjective Coffee - specialty coffee roasters with hearts of gold for the community. They have been amazing to us, and a wonderful home to help us grow during this tough year for the coffee industry. But we have now gotten large enough to leave the roost and go out on our own! That said, we are currently navigating a lease - so be sure to stay tuned to our socials for more updates on that as we get moved in to our new lair.

We toured a dozen locations, spoke to numerous brokers and landlords, and weighed all the pros and cons of each. First and foremost, we need a location to facilitate roasting coffee, making merch, and shipping orders. While we would love to also have a gaming cafe included in that location - we are taking baby steps towards that goal. 

Thus, our new home will be the new official roastery head quarters, with a small retail zone for weary travelers to pick up some beans! Over time we will add some brewed coffee to our offerings as we get settled in and keep growing our little dream. We also intend to work out an arrangement to keep store pickup available for those who like to grab their coffee at Subjective Coffee.
